family dynamic, while emphasizing Positive Behavioral Support systems. We are looking for the best talent
to lead our Behavioral-Health Service Model as a Program Manager of Mental Health and Substance Use Counseling
in our Union, NJ location.
Responsibilities
- The Program Manager will
provide direction for the day-to-day operations of our Therapeutic Interventions for the Mental Health Counseling and Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Programs.
- Provide leadership for key component
activities concerning Outcomes, Oversight of Program Analytics, Program
Budgeting, as well as behavioral health-driven, public health, and wellness
integration models.
- Plays an integral role in providing
organizational and programmatic direction to programs.
- The main point of contact for resolving
routine operational and building maintenance issues.
- Manages program staffing efforts and
the coordination of special projects, collaborating
with grant writers, program budgeting and monitoring, directing the quality
management team, and assisting in development/fundraising and marketing
activities for the programs.
- Help resolve site-specific problems
when they arise, including coordinating with Neuropath’s Human Resources, Total
Quality Management, Finance and Billing, and Information Systems Components, as
necessary.
- Oversee general contracting process
at treatment programs, including adherence to specific program elements specified
in each contract.
- Conduct necessary financial analysis
to help identify cost-saving strategies and anticipate and address financial
challenges
- Provide program support and cross-program
Integration Services including outcomes.
- Provide project management
assistance to program initiatives.
- Provide assistance to Quality
Management activities, including conducting internal audit/chart reviews, and
general support to QM Unit as needed.
- Conduct Client Satisfaction Surveys
at NPBHC Program sites at regular intervals (typically Quarterly), and compile
and distribute results to Executive Director, QM Staff, and Program Development
Funding Manager.
- Assist in development and
maintenance of productivity reports and analyses, productivity dashboards, and
other quality management tracking tools
- Purchasing, Processing, Finance:
- Assist with program budgeting,
fiscal monitoring and tracking, billing and claims processing and reporting,
including coordinating and collaborating with Finance and Billing staff and
with external payor stakeholders as needed;
- Coordinate the purchase of key
facility support materials and items, including program supplies, facilities
supplies, etc.
- Help to resolve problems and analyze
system backlogs related to purchasing at behavioral health program sites;
- Assist with the oversight and
management of the day-to-day operations at NPBHC behavioral health treatment
programs to ensure that all major systems (building-related, MIS, fiscal, and
HR) are operating effectively;

- Knowledge of the behavioral health
field; and Sensitivity and understanding of Cultural Competency concepts.
- 3-5 years of experience
required, preferably related to program oversite or human services.
- Advanced education may be
substituted for up to two (2) years of experience
- Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related business field required.
