What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Cashier position at New Lebanon Local Schools?
Cashier (3.5 hours per day) assigned to the middle school. The approximate hours for this position will be Monday through Friday 10:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. (178 days worked, plus 8 paid holidays). The salary minmum is $13.30 per hour.
Job Description:
Operate point of sale station during during lunch periods. Assist with the accounting of daily receipts. Maintain high standards for quality food service and customer satisfaction. Help maintain a sanitary and orderly kitchen.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Meet all mandated health requirements. Ability to complete Food Safety Certification. A clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Basic math and record keeping skills. Successful completion of health department sanitation course is desirable. Food Safety Certification. Demonstrated maturity and the ability to work with students and their families as well as district staff. Meet all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded.
