Job Brief
NYTPS is currently looking for a Part-Time BCBA/LBA for Direct Support Services located in Bronx, NY 10451 in a school setting 10-15 hours per week.
Duties Include:
- Provide direct support behavioral services in school for two Middle School Age siblings
- Create and implement intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Submit progress reports and summaries
- Work collaboratively with school team to achieve behavioral goals
- Expertise with Behavior Management Methods, Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA); and the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP Assessments
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job including sitting on the floor with student, getting up from the floor, bending and kneeling, running with children, etc.
- Create data measurement system and continuously monitor progress on behavior reduction targets and skill acquisition goals
Position Requirements:
- Must be a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY-LBA)
- Must be able to work in the school setting with the children
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, including homes, schools, and community placements
- Competent in behavior management, skill instruction, oral and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children who are behavioral
