Inventory Control Specialist | Sparks, NV

Nexeo HR is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join a dynamic data center logistics team in Sparks, NV (near USA Parkway). This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory levels, smooth material flow, and consistent documentation across multiple warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconcile physical stock with system data

• Receive, verify, and label incoming IT hardware, equipment, and parts

• Maintain accurate inventory records using a WMS or ERP system

• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Track part movement, issue stock, and support inbound/outbound workflows

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed

• Maintain an organized, clean storage area that meets security and safety standards

• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams

• Follow all safety, SOP, and process compliance guidelines

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of inventory control, asset management, shipping/receiving, or data center logistics experience

• Familiarity with WMS/ERP inventory systems

• Basic computer proficiency (data entry, documentation, Microsoft Office)

• Strong attention to detail and accurate counting/auditing skills

• Understanding of warehouse safety standards and inventory handling protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Must pass a national background check and pre‑employment drug screening

Pay

$25.00 per hour

Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Must be willing and available to work OT as needed.
