Training & Onboarding Assistant (Temporary Project) | Henderson, NV

Nexeo HR Staffing is seeking a mature, highly professional Training & Onboarding Assistant to support a temporary, project-based training and onboarding initiative in Henderson, Nevada. This role is administrative-heavy, requiring strong organization, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-moving warehouse environment.

You will be the first point of contact for new hires, making professionalism and discretion absolutely essential. This role supports a high-volume operation and may shift based on evolving project needs.

• This is a TEMPORARY, PROJECT-BASED POSITION located in Henderson, NV

• This role is NOT temp-to-hire and will conclude at the end of the project

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site onboarding point of contact for new hires

• Coordinate onboarding schedules and training calendars

• Manage and maintain employee records within Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• Track training completion and compliance documentation

• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information

• Provide administrative support to the Training & Development team

• Communicate professionally with trainers, managers, and new employees

• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a warehouse environment

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative, HR support, onboarding, or training coordination experience

• Strong calendar-management and organizational skills

• Experience with LMS platforms or similar systems preferred

• High level of professionalism, maturity, and discretion

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working in a warehouse or operations setting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting training, onboarding, or HR operations

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional overtime)
