Full Time Residential Staff – DBT Program
The NFI DBT House in Vernon, VT is seeking a full-time Residential Counselor to support the needs of our clients. The DBT House is a residential program that has been recognized for positive outcomes over the last 18 years in the lives of adolescent females who have experienced trauma, have complex behavioral challenges and who tend to struggle in their relationships. Responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of our clients; providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling; and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills, and behavior. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, work evening hours, have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred. Typical shifts are 4 evenings a week, eventually to include one weekend day/evening. Pay range $20.50-$22/hour.
