The NFI Hospital Diversion Program in South Burlington is hiring for an Overnight Mental Health Worker. Hospital Diversion is a short-term in-patient facility working with adolescents in psychiatric crisis. This position provides supervision and support to the youth during their sleeping hours, completes client intakes after-hours, and performs administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to youth during sleeping hours
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis
- Facilitate a comfortable community alternative for inpatient youth
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
or
2 years of experience working directly with youth/adolescent populations
Pay/Benefits:
- 30 hours per week, Thursday - Saturday, 10PM – 8AM
- Starting Pay of $20.50 - $23.00 per hour with $1.50 hourly stipend for awake hours
