JOB SUMMARY: Perform count drop and reconciliation of all revenue drops in compliance with Casino policies under the supervision of the Count Drop Supervisor and/or Count Drop Lead.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Knowledge of department Guest Service Standards.
- Knowledge of casino promotions.
- Open and empty the contents of the drop boxes.
- Sort and count the chips and currency contained in drop boxes.
- Verify and strap currency.
- Clear and accurate posting and consolidating of Games Summary sheet.
- Reconcile amounts posted to amounts counted.
- Prepare cash and chips for transfer to Cage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills and knowledge:
- 1 year of high volume cash handling experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- Casino or Count Drop experience.
- 10-key experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for assigned shift in a confined space.
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork.
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
