POSITION OBJECTIVE: Provide leadership to the Heavy Duty Cleaning Team Members while providing cleaning services and maintenance to allow other Team Members to provide exceptional service to the guests.

JOB SUMMARY: Working lead responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and exhaust hoods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards.
• Knowledge of casino promotions.
• Responsible for overseeing the Heavy Duty Cleaners.
• General cleaning of equipment including, but not limited to gas fryers, stove tops, griddles, steamers and ovens.
• Degrease and general cleaning of food preparation areas.
• Degrease exhaust hoods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required skills and knowledge:
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Experience in industrial kitchen cleaning.
• Experience in general cleaning and safe chemical use.
• Ability to learn current occupational safety standards, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
• 6 months supervisory experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely climb and work from a ladder.
• Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
