The Outpatient Director provides operational leadership and oversight for the Outpatient department, facilitates graduate medical education, and related programs as assigned. The Director ensures quality person centered care is provided to clients who are served in Outpatient through personnel oversight, ensuring program policies/procedures are followed, and adherence to applicable DHS regulations and Joint Commission Standards. The Director works collaboratively with NCHC leadership, leadership throughout NCHC, the counties NCHC serves, education partners, and community partners.

Minimum Education: *Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field earned at an accredited four-year college or university

Minimum Work Experience: *Three years of relevant experience.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: *
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned team(s) with responsibilities for client satisfaction, employee engagement and operational outcomes.
- Completes annual budget, manages expenses and revenue to ensure that program meets budgeted targets.
- Ensure alignment of goals, outcomes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with relevant federal, state, and regulatory/accreditation regulations.
- Recruits and hires new employees.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of clinical experiences for graduate medical learners.
- Manages employee performance through ongoing coaching, facilitation of performance reviews and creation of professional development plans.
- Provides outreach and education to community partners and NCHC departments.
- Develops and maintains relationships with community partners and key stakeholders to maximize collaboration.
