Northeast Community Clinic (NECC), a major Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multi-specialty outpatient clinics located throughout Los Angeles County is seeking dedicated and mission-oriented Referral Clerks in the following locations:
- NECC – DTLA: 1414 S. Grand Avenue, Suite 380, Los Angeles, CA 90015
- Diabetes & Endocrinology Specialty Center: 1414 S. Grand Ave., Suite 456, Los Angeles, CA 90015
- Gage Health Center: 2975 Zoe Avenue, Huntington Park, CA 90255
- Huntington Park Community Health Center: 2822 E. Florence Avenue, Huntington Park, CA 90255
- NECC Hawthorne: 4455 W. 117th Street, Suite 300, Hawthorne, CA 90250
- Wilmington Family Health Center: 200 E. Anaheim Street, Wilmington, CA 90744
Position Summary
The Referral Clerk is responsible for verifying eligibility, checking benefits, documenting physician direct referrals and pre-authorizations of certain services via phone, fax, or email. This position will also be responsible for scheduling appointments with specialists and other community resources as instructed by a primary care provider.
