Job Summary
Northeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging (NEMO AAA) is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Contract Manager to support oversight and compliance of Older Americans Act (OAA) programs and contracted services across our 16-county service area. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality services for older adults while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Older Americans Act regulations and provide technical assistance to contracted providers.
- Monitor contractor compliance through annual programmatic and fiscal reviews, with a focus on quality improvement.
- Oversee OAA nutrition services, including congregate and home-delivered meals.
- Review Monthly Service Render Reports (MSRR), reconcile data with agency systems, and coordinate invoice processing with fiscal staff.
- Track required health and fire inspections, approve quarterly menus, and review contractor training documentation.
- Coordinate annual intake assessments and service plan updates for home-delivered meal participants.
- Serve as a liaison between NEMO AAA and contractors to ensure program goals and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist with development of annual contracts, unit rates, Area Plan documents, audits, and Requests for Proposals.
- Support monitoring activities and documentation for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required).
- Basic math and data review skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal staff and external partners.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance meeting State of Missouri requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check through the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.
- Limited travel within the service area is required.
