Warehouse Clerk I

Job Summary/Objective

Responsible for supporting the daily activities of a manufacturing warehouse including incoming product receiving, finished goods shipping and component order fulfillment.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be authorized to work in the USA

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education Preferred

Associates Degree from a two-year school and/or two to four years related experience

Drug Testing

Offers of employment are conditioned on successful completion of a drug test as outlined in the Drug Free Workplace Policy. Incumbents are also subject to the guidelines of the drug testing policy.

Essential Job Functions Required

1.Accurately picking inventory parts according to pick sheet, confirming part numbers and quantities and indicating amount of parts picked on pick sheet

2.Receiving of incoming parts using FIFO method, verifying part numbers and quantities and reporting any damages

3.Cleaning and packaging of finished goods in preparation for shipment.

4.Adhering to ISO procedures for inbound receipts, RMA's and NCMR's.

5.Organizing inventory and shelving to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

6.Keep warehouse clean and free of debris.

7.Assist in the role of Driver as needed to make local deliveries.

8.Must adhere to company drug testing policy including new hire and random hair and/or urine testing.

9.Must possess valid NYS driver license.

10.Forklift and pallet jack experience is helpful.

11.Ability to read and understand the English language

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Employee is required to adhere to all required PPE, including but not limited to: use of safety glasses, gloves, shields, security belts and harnesses. Leather steel toe boots are recommended.
