Description
With direction from the Executive Director of Recruiting, this role is responsible for recruitment and selection efforts. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach full-time financial advisor contract goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and develop effective referral sources with current Northwestern Mutual advisors and staff members, develop strong networks in the local community, and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (referrals, job boards, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
- Review resumes, call candidates, schedule and conduct initial interviews
- Actively participate in community/campus clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
- Administer selection tools and guide candidates through the selection process
- Report weekly recruiting activity to leadership team
- Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, recent graduate from a local university preferred
- Outstanding community and campus involvement in the greater Sacramento area
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
- Experience with networking or recruiting, lead generating experience preferred
- Strong personal/professional network to leverage from a recruiting perspective

Compensation
- Base salary plus performance-based bonuses
