What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician II $40k Sign-on Bonus position at Norton Sound Health Corp?
Purpose of Position:
Provide clinical mental health and/or substance abuse assessments and write treatment plans in partnership with Village Health Services for employees of NSHC Village Health Services Department;
Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization’s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.
Essential Functions:
- Provide implement appropriate actions to meet the client’s/family’s physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and safety needs and evaluate client’s progress
- Provide and document comprehensive and individual assessments identifying client problems and needs with appropriate interventions to achieve desirable outcomes and gather data to demonstrate the utilization of the clinical process to promote client outcomes
- Arrange clinical services, make referrals to appropriate providers, assist in treatment compliance and coordinate with human service agencies
- Maintain quality and efficiency standards, participate in activities that promote professional growth and self-development, attend pertinent in-services, departmental and other meetings
- Work with regional agencies to promote NSHC’s Behavioral Health Services and work to achieve and integrate NSHC goals with the expectations of federal and state governments
- Travel extensively throughout the Bering Strait Region to provide mental health services to our region’s health aides.
- Perform other duties as assigned
