What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Driver I position at Norton Sound Health Corp?
Purpose of Position:
Provide ground transportation for hospital and clinic patients to and from the airport and to and from the hospital/clinic for the elderly and handicapped in Nome in a safe and professional manner and will ensure the vehicle is clean at all times.

Essential Functions:
- Provide ground transportation for hospital and clinic patients to and from the airport and to and from the hospital/clinic for the elderly and handicapped in Nome in a safe and professional manner
- Maintain a professional behavior and attitudes in regards to customers, visitors and coworkers
- Provide other transportation services such as delivery of business documents and checks needing signatures and outgoing packages to the airlines as needed
- Keep switchboard operator adviced of whereabouts to ensure efficient patient transportation
- Assure vehicle maintenance and cleaning, report all problems and/or concerns to the Maintenance Department and immediate supervisor
- Assist with various materials management support activities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
