🔧 About the Role:
As the Plate Processing Lead, you'll oversee day-to-day operations of the plate processing department — ensuring productivity, precision, and safety are always on point. You'll lead a team, coordinate workflow, and keep things running smoothly from raw plate to finished cut.
🛠️ You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Leading and training a team of machine operators
• Setting up & operating CNC plasma, laser, and gang Oxy cutting machines
• Adjusting machine settings for optimal cut quality
• Ensuring clean, accurate cuts, holes, and bevels
• Coordinating with procurement on raw material stock
• Planning daily workloads to hit production targets
• Using ERP systems to track output and performance
• Troubleshooting machine failures with technicians
• Managing simple and occasional complex rigging ops
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area
• Ensuring all HSE & fabrication standards are met
