Overview
Our client is looking for a Junior Application Systems Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application systems and be able to provide support to users. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and working with the development team to resolve them.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science and typically 5 years of experience in IT or System support and analysis.
• Background in developing and supporting utilities applications in a real time on call environment.
• Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent communications skills to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology.
• Expertise and strong knowledge of Java, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Basic .NET, Classic ASP, JavaScript and HTML.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex SQL statements.
• Strong documentation and support skills
