Job Summary
The BDC Inside Sales Representative will act as a liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The role of the BDC Representative will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential partners.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a significant amount of inbound and outbound phone calls in a timely manner
- Follow communication scripts when describing various products and services while also explaining future product modifications when necessary
- Identify customer’s needs, provide clarity for all information communicated, research customer’s issues, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/plan payments
- Build and maintain customer relationships by engaging in continuous dialogue to promote the importance of NVP products
- Document all phone conversations by utilizing the call center database in an efficient manner
- Frequently attend educational seminars to improve upon your own professional knowledge and performance level
- Effectively accomplish and exceed individual and company-wide set goals and objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an inbound/outbound call center environment, inside sales account representative, or similar role in sales preferred
- Proven track record in a customer support role
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with a keen sense of listening to customer issues
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a keen sense of active listening to various issues
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, and the ability to quickly learn new features on NVP Warranty’s in-house CRM
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when dealing with current and future customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
