Key Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Pay: $19-$22/hour; candidate experience and internal equity considered

Position Overview: Our Medical Scribes accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the provider. A typical day will include:
- Present pertinent information to provider prior to entering patient room.
- Anticipate provider needs to facilitate the flow of clinic
- Gather patient medical history and physical exam, including skin cancer history, surgical procedures and treatments.
- Upload and label appropriate photo documentation.
- Provide patient education materials and written instructions.
- Prepare referral letters as directed by the provider.
- Prepare and send electronic prescriptions.
- Prepare laboratory requisitions and pathology requisitions.
- Assist with in-room setup and with procedures as needed.
- Assist with other clinic functions as time allows i.e. room stocking, laundry, etc.
- Follow all clinic protocol and policy including HIPAA.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, college or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in the following settings/fields: hospital, clinic, dermatology, aesthetics, medspa, primary care, outpatient.
- Exercise good judgment, organizational ability, initiative, attention to detail, with self- motivation.
- Excellent spelling, grammar and medical terminology.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance with all required Oregon healthcare immunizations or appropriate exemptions.
- Participation of reference checks and pre-employment background check upon hire.
