The ideal candidate has a proven track record of budgeting, forecasting and data analysis experience. The candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with a variety of colleagues with varying backgrounds. Experience using advanced Excel applications a plus.

Job Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst supports fiscal management, budgeting, analytics, and strategic planning for the University. Collaborating with the President’s Cabinet, Controller and other constituents, the Senior Financial Analyst aligns annual budgets with forecasts, offers predictive insights, and identifies opportunities and risks to drive strategic decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to initiatives that promote the
financial health and strategic growth of the University. This position will directly influence operational efficiencies and long-term strategies that support the University’s mission. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Controller.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Prepares budgets, financial analysis, forecasts and reports in collaboration with the Controller.
- Supports the financial health and strategic initiatives of the University through detailed financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Contributes to initiatives that improve operational efficiency and align with the University’s mission and long-term goals.
- Collaborates with faculty, staff and administrators to influence data-driven decisionmaking.
- Provides insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Develops and maintains accurate financial reports to ensure transparency and accountability in the budgeting process.
- Prepares financial dashboards for use by President’s Cabinet and Board of Trustees.
