Talent Acquisition Specialist

Open Systems Technologies is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in New York, NY.

Pay: $20-25/hr

This position will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to join our unique company. This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening candidates, as well as scheduling and conducting interviews.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively contact passive candidates and sell them on talking to Open Systems
• Source and screen candidates
• Develop, track and report on metrics
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategy
• Create a pipeline of qualified candidates
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
• Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads

Requirements:

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Applied knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations related to recruiting
• Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, at times with limited resources
• Comfortable with uncertainty and working with a sense of urgency
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
