Medical Receptionist
San Jose, CA – On-site (Locations also in Palo Alto & Emeryville)
$23 – $27/hour
Option 1 is actively seeking a Medical Receptionist for one of our rapidly growing healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, with a focus on patient-facing roles. We are looking for someone with strong oral and written communication skills, exceptional customer service, and a friendly, reliable demeanor. Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for patients, physicians, vendors, and visitors
- Check-in patients
- Answering incoming phones and emails
- Scheduling and follow-up regarding patients’ appointments
- Verifying insurance
- RTE (Real-Time Eligibility)
- EOB (Explanation of Benefits)
- Data Entry
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of directly related work experience
- HS Diploma
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience working with EPIC is preferred, but willing to train
- Bilingual is a plus!
