What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration Specialist position at OSMC?
OSMC is looking for an outgoing, friendly and courteous person to assist our front desk staff at our registration desk in our Therapy Department. The staff greets patients/visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. The ideal person will answer phones, check in patients, completes necessary registration paperwork, verifies and accurately enters demographic information into computer. This position will also add insurance information, scan insurance cards, and attaches correct insurance to the encounter for accurate billing.
This job is an 8:30 a.m. to 530 p.m. position Monday through Friday position. Our staff have to have a compassionate approach to helping patients get to their appointments in a orderly fashion and with any questions they may have.

This position does require a GED/High School Diploma to apply. Prior experience is preferred.
