The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for completing the payment to all vendors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities will include:
? Ensure receipt of all payable information and process outgoing payments accurately
? Perform day to day transactions; verifies, records, and classifies accounts payable data
? Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
? Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
? Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
? Understands expense accounts and cost centers
? Understands W-9s and other compliance issues around accounts payable process
? Address and respond to vendor inquiries
Requirements
Requirements Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
? 2-4 years experience with Accounts Payables
? Solid understanding of accounting, especially accounts payable principles
? Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
? Experience with QuickBooks is required
? Google Suite, Boss LM, and BuilderTrend, preferred
? Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
