DEPARTMENT: Production
EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt
Overhill Farms is a leading custom manufacturer of high quality prepared frozen foods, serving customers in the branded retail, private label and foodservice sectors. We provide a one-stop solution that offers new product development or precise replication of existing recipes as well as product manufacturing and packaging. Our custom product lines include poultry, meat and fish specialties, pastas, soups, sauces, certified organic and vegetarian offerings. These can be prepared as entrées, plated meals or bulk-packed meal components.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge on computer
- Able to read and write English
- Previous operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate HMI, analyze and make adjustment on the HMI
- Setup and change over equipment
- Measure product for mixing
- Able to lift 50 lb. bags to dump into Hopper
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- Assemble the extruder/pumps/extruder heads/conveyors for Production
- Dismantle of equipment for cleaning
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Follow all GMP and Safety regulations
- Ability to monitor and adjust dough texture and weights while extruder is running
- Able to fill out lot numbers and related paperwork timely and accurately
- Able to troubleshoot minor issues making minor mechanical adjustments or HMI adjustments
