As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for general maintenance and repairs within the facility. The Maintenance Technician must also be able to communicate and perform well with others.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Following ALL policies implemented by the company (Safety, and GMP(s), cell phone, etc.)
- Maintenance and repairs of ALL production equipment, and assist wherever needed regardless of dept. boundaries (production, building or Plant Utilities)
- Ensure the daily logs, PM(s), and CWO(s) are being filled out properly before being submitted
- Document any issues that require follow up repairs/replacement and submit to the Maintenance Manager to generate work orders or add to PM(s)
- Performs Maintenance, Repair and Preventative Maintenance of packaging lines.
- Maintain the operation of the production equipment by working with operators and other staff to identify and correct potential issues that could create downtime.
- Assisting other departments where needed as directed by management (Supervisors, and Dept. Managers
- Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, and the Technical Manager on Maintenance issues (schedule PM(s), training, project coordination

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Packaging Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Food Processing, or Similar Environments
- Minimum 1 years’ experience with industrial maintenance or skilled trades which may consist of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and or mechanics.
- Ability to work from manuals and prints
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends to accommodate production demands, PM(s), and project completions.
- Mechanics are required to work with little or no supervision as well as work as a group on large projects.
- Above average skills in attendance
Education and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience: High school diploma or equivalent
- Years of experience: 1
Physical Demands of the Position:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this position the employee must be able to work in multiple climates and work environments including, but not limited to: dirt, heat, freezer, smoke/steam, noise, vibration, grease/oil, fumes, dust/shavings, and wet environments; variable temperatures of both heat and cold.
