Assistant Teacher / Teacher Aide - Preschool Classroom

We are looking to add a new member to our collaborative teaching team in a preschool classroom. Hours of position are 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. You will work alongside several other teachers to care for children ages two-five years. Responsibilities include: providing supervision to children who are playing in small groups in the classroom, reading stories throughout the day, assisting lead teachers in arts and craft preparation, assisting lead teachers when needed, wiping snack/lunch tables, diapering non-toilet trained students. An ideal candidate has a friendly disposition, takes initiative, is professional and also a team player who is comfortable working with young children and communicating with their parents.
