- Process service line-specific transactions in accordance with standard work and service level agreements.
- Conduct written and telephone communications and prepare email correspondence to customers, vendors, program administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a BSC Call Center Representative. (Business Service Center)
- Resolve processing errors, identify system user needs, and manage complex transactions.
- Consistently provide quality customer service to all Business Service Center customers.
- Collaborate with supervisors and participate in LEAN activities to improve processes.
- Analyze data and resolve complex auditing problems related to NYS business practices, including various audit functions.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a call center environment.
- 3 or more years of experience processing business, finance, or HR transactions (Please see Options 1 to 3 below for acceptable forms of this requirement).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multiple computer systems.
- Prior experience in customer service and problem resolution.
- Option 1: High school diploma and three years of full-time experience processing business, finance, or human resource transactions.
- Option 2: 60 semester credit hours of college-level study.
- Option 3: 30 semester credit hours of college-level study and one year of experience processing business, finance or HR transactions.
- Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Length of engagement: 1-year engagement with potential for extending into longer-term and/or permanent employment with the state agency.
- Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5 pm
