At Physicians Mutual, our Enterprise Technology Group is more than just a team—it's a community. We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join us as a Full-Time Senior Mainframe Systems Administrator.
This role is crucial to ensuring that our systems run smoothly and that we can continue to provide exceptional service to those who depend on us. In this role, you will analyze mainframe operating systems and resources to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the selection, testing, installation, and implementation of new mainframe hardware and software, making a tangible impact on our technological landscape. Additionally, you will provide essential technical support to our ETG personnel, helping them navigate any challenges that arise. Handling RACF Security for our business users, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge & experience in RACF mainframe security
- Knowledge & experience in mainframe z/OS operating systems
- 4 years of application programming.
- 3 years in software engineering & administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline.
