Now Hiring: AP/CP Pathologist | Community Hospital Setting
Are you a board-certified Pathologist seeking a dynamic role in a collaborative, patient-focused environment? We’re looking for an experienced Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP) to join our team and contribute to high-quality diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.
🧪 What You’ll Do:
- Interpret surgical pathology, frozen sections, and cytology via electronic case sign-out
- Perform gross examinations and generate detailed pathology reports
- Consult with physicians on test selection, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Support lab quality control, assurance, and infection control initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in pathology and maintain regulatory compliance
- May supervise staff and train personnel as needed
🎓 What You’ll Need:
- MD or DO degree with unrestricted medical license (or eligibility)
- Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology (ABP or AOBP)
- Minimum 3 years of pathology experience in a community hospital
- Subspecialty board certification (if applicable)
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
