What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist position at Planet Pharma?
This role supports the activities related to chemical and material characterization of materials and/or devices for projects from company businesses and operating units. This position assists in the execution of diverse analytical chemistry-focused activities aimed at providing solutions for operations, manufacturing, research and development and new product development within the various businesses or operating units across the company.
- Execute studies in accordance with test plans and protocols
- Document all work and maintain best documentation practices
- Compile data and contribute to reports, or generate reports, as assigned, or prescribed by test plans and internal SOPs
- Operate and maintain related equipment/instrumentation that is relevant to one’s role and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to all relevant laboratory and facility procedures and processes, such as test plans, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), and Work Instructions (WI)
- Always ensure training to SOPs/WI/company policies/etc. are current Core/other
- Laboratory skills centered on analytical chemistry-related tasks
- Communicates effectively with personnel across the department
- Seek to continuously improve processes and procedures
- Commitment to customer service Regulations
- Understands and adheres to department and facility best practices and organization’s standards for regulatory compliance, such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and ISO 17025
