**Housekeeping**

Overview

The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires a commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned lodging accommodation and public areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the dining hall where possible.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Report any issues identified in lodging accommodations and public areas while cleaning to housekeeping management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  
  

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 -- 40 per week

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as neede
