We’re hiring a Night Shift Network Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise data center environment. This is a W2-only, contract-to-hire role offering a mostly remote schedule, with occasional onsite support required, so candidates must live within 45 minutes of Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday – Tuesday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM ET
- Week 2: Sunday – Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM ET
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for routing, switching, and data center network infrastructure.
- Lead overnight incident response and network troubleshooting efforts.
- Work with technologies including Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 9K), VxLAN, and VPC/VDC.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain high availability.
- Participate in network changes, documentation, and performance improvements.
Requirements:
- 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 9K, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Familiar with tools like Cisco NDFC, ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, and Wireshark.
- Experience with F5 load balancers, SevOne, NetCool, and network monitoring tools.
- Must live within 45 minutes of Lake Buena Vista, FL for onsite needs.
Preferred:
- CCNA, F5-CTS LTM, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and data center automation.
