Our client is looking for a Deskside Support Technician for a 1 year onsite contract in Glendale CA. The Deskside Support Technician will provide onsite support life cycle management of employee computer assets (laptops, desktops/PC’s, mobile devices, handheld devices) from procurement to disposition.
Shifts are Monday-Friday 7am-7pm PST, you will earn 5 hours of overtime each week as you will be working 45 hours per week.
Day to Day RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform installs, moves, adds and changes (iMac)
- Manage of over 20,000 assets from procurement to disposition
- 100 monthly project moves
- 50 weekly computer upgrades and hardware refreshes
- Mobile device management, deployment, and support
- Track all computer assets (laptop, desktops, mobile devices), receive, and audit
- Installation of software on PCs for new employees
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have supported large enterprise environment of 500 users
- 2 years iMac and Windows OS support & experience
- Knowledge of desktop applications and operations systems
o Adobe Acrobat, Windows 10/11, MS Office, Outlook
- Active directory services troubleshooting knowledge
- VPN, and Internet Browsers knowledge
- Experience with installation and deployment of desktops, laptops and mobile devices
- Software installation
- Strong troubleshooting of hardware and software
- Android, Apple, and tablet management support
- Asset Management tracking
- Ticketing system experience; Jira preferred
