Prairie View is excited to be recruiting for a Supported Employment Case Manager to join our team! This is an hourly, full-time position that will help serve the McPherson and Marion counties. It can be based out of either office.
This position will help individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness who have a serious mental illness, medical impairment, and/or co-occurring substance use disorder apply for Social Security disability benefits. This position will also help individuals who are disabled prepare for employment and increase ability to live independently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree required in behavioral sciences or equivalent; if no degree, than equivalent work experience in the human services field can be considered.
Minimum Experience: Experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness and/or homelessness population.
Must be able to pass extensive background checks and have a valid driver's license and be insurable through Prairie View's insurance company.

Just a short 20 minute drive from the Wichita area and situated just off the beaten path, yet close enough to the conveniences of the city, Prairie View’s campus is nearly 80 acres of natural Kansas plain. A number of evidence-based mental health services are provided, including hospitalization, outpatient services, a community support program, an adventure course, a special purpose school and more.
Prairie View’s additional outpatient locations in Hillsboro, McPherson and Wichita provide services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for a complete range of behavioral and mental health issues.
