Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehab department and oversee therapy services at Page Health & Rehab Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical rehabilitation, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation programs that meet patient needs and regulatory standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Joint Commission requirements.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor departmental budgets, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
- Must hold a degree and current state license in Physical Therapy (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapy (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of rehabilitation leadership experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapy practices, regulatory standards, and best practices in rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
