Job Description:
Medical Assistant will perform administrative tasks under the direction of a physician, nurses, and other medical staff that may include scheduling appointments, manage provider schedules, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, collecting medical histories, and preparing patients for examination. MAs are responsible for Point of Care testing including finger sticks, collection of urine, EKGs, PFTs (Pulmonary Function Test), and swabbing for Flu, Strep, Covid-19, etc. Other responsibilities required for the position include Disinfecting, cleaning, and maintaining all exam rooms and work areas. Organizing and tracking all supplies both for clinical and administrative purposes.

Qualifications:
1 Years of experience working in healthcare
Familiar with medical terminology

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of Medical Assistant Program preferred
