Description
Coordinates activities/events and provides administrative support for the Prestonwood en Español Women’s Ministry
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Women’s Ministry including scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, responding to inquiries, ordering supplies and other clerical and administrative duties.
- Oversee women’s classes and small groups – forming teams as needed
- Be present in groups and classes
- Provide refreshments, books and gifts as needed for classes and events
- Assist in identifying, recruiting and training women for leadership
- Assist with organizing special events
- Assist with contacting women visitors, coordinate follow up efforts with Membership Services department, follow up with women for baptism
- Generate required ministry reports – weekly, monthly and annually
- Ensure volunteer screening process is completed
- Work alongside with Lewisville and North Campus for the Women’s Ministry needs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood en Espanol
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Intermediate skill using Microsoft Office programs
- Able to articulate the gospel message and lead someone to Christ
- Strong communication skills (Spanish/English), both written and oral
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs
Salary : $28,800 - $36,400
