Description
Assist in setting up and running technical aspects of media for the Children’s Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”).
Responsibilities:
- Set up A/V gear for events and services
- Assist in preparing content for display in various venues
- Operate technical equipment for events and services
- Train and work alongside volunteers
- Help maintain an inventory of technical equipment and ensure proper maintenance and care
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-PC
- Willingness to commit to our core values of Passionate, Relational, Excellent, Accountable, Collaborative, and Honoring
- Strong grasp of multiple areas of technology, including audio, video gear, and lighting
- FOH audio skills/experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and a desire to work with children’s ministry and volunteers
- Flexibility and good attitude in work environment
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body such as in walking, stooping, lifting, balancing where the activities may require use of arms and legs, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. without assistance
