Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm with deep regional expertise, offering a balanced split between on-site presence and office-based planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of civil construction projects, including excavation, wastewater, and underground utility scopes.
- Manage field operations and office coordination—3–4 days on-site in Middlesex, VT, and 1–2 days in the office.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and change orders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and local authorities.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and construction standards on-site.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project quality.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates through closeout.
Requirements:
- 10 years of project management experience in civil construction, ideally with a focus on excavation and wastewater systems.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate field operations.
- Familiarity with regional permitting and environmental compliance requirements in Vermont or Northern New England.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to the Middlesex site.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
