Senior Technical Designer – Intimates & Apparel

Location: Onsite – Manhattan, NY

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Designer to join a globally recognized fashion leader, supporting our intimates and apparel line. This onsite role in Manhattan is ideal for someone with a strong technical eye, a background in fit evaluation, and the ability to translate design vision into manufacturable garments.

What You'll Do:

• Lead technical design process from concept through final fit.
• Participate in and/or lead fit sessions; provide detailed, actionable fit comments and pattern corrections.
• Analyze garments to ensure optimal fit, construction, and quality – aligned with cost and manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Vendors.
• Create and maintain accurate tech packs and specifications in Centric/Flex PLM.
• Support and mentor junior technical designers as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7 years of technical design experience, specifically with intimates and/or apparel.
• Proven experience writing detailed fit comments and managing multiple fits through to production.
• Tools proficiency: Centric PLM, Flex PLM, Illustrator, Excel.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
