Job Summary:
Supervises the daily activities of a group of general labor employees. Determines workday operational activities and production, implement proper policies and procedures. Familiar with production processes. Relies on skills, knowledge and experience to accomplish all assigned tasks. Reviews all activities to eliminate waste and continuous improvement processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting productivity goals with Operations Manager
- The Supervisor coordinates with other departments to ensure that materials are available
- Assigns employees to appropriate daily work goals
- Ensures effective manpower planning and assignment of work as necessary to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Creates, monitors and/or reviews documentation related to material traceability, production activities and projects
- Verifies all quality standards are preserved and enforced in production
- Exercise supervisory duties such as training, disciplining and recognizing performance
- Monitors and enforces all quality, health, safety, environmental and OSHA rules
- Perform all duties as assigned by manager
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or GED or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use programs such as email, established programs, etc.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Must possess a valid driver’s license for business travel, such as, customer visits, to attend required meeting, seminars, etc.
