About The Role

Public Media Network is looking for a self-motivated and mission-driven Partnership Specialist to help grow our revenue through sponsorships, memberships, and community partnerships. You'll connect local businesses, nonprofits, and independent creators to PMN's media platforms, from television and podcasts to newsletters, websites, and live events.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to grow in business development and community media. You'll have room to take initiative and drive real impact while receiving support and mentorship from our team.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with PMN's creative and administrative staff to align partnership activities with the organization's strategic goals.

What You'll Do

• Reach out to businesses, nonprofits, and creators to share sponsorship, membership, and partnership opportunities.
• Schedule and lead meetings to present tailored proposals for sponsorships and branded content.
• Build and manage a portfolio of local partners with guidance from senior staff.
• Grow our membership program through outreach and engagement.
• Support the development and sale of sponsorships for branded video and audio content.
• Coordinate partnership details and ensure sponsor deliverables are met.
• Track outreach, partnership activity, and campaign results.
• Attend local events to network, support PMN visibility, and strengthen relationships.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Someone excited to build relationships and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
• Clear, confident communicator (written, verbal, digital).
• Comfortable making outreach calls, scheduling meetings, and representing PMN.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in media, nonprofit work, or community engagement.
• Some experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, or customer service is helpful (internships/volunteer experience welcome).
• Able to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel locally as needed.
