The Role:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the daily pickup and transportation of materials from vendor locations or the company warehouse to project sites. Ensures the materials and equipment loaded are correct according to type and quantity, are delivered timely, and that all related paperwork (receivers, manifests, and other delivery documents are properly signed, organized, and submitted to purchasing/accounting timely.
Key Responsibilities for Delivery Driver:
-knowledge of transportation routes in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties and transportation resources to travel to project locations.
-Ensure vehicles are clean, tidy, and fueled.
-Inspects the vehicles daily for possible operating issues and immediately notifies management if any are found.
-Reports any accidents promptly and complies with company policies and procedures as well as all state-enforced safety and driving rules and regulations.
- Comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment.
-Loading and unloading packages to be delivered
- Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and ability to pass drug test.
-lift and/or move up to fifty(50) pounds.
Hours- vary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
