As a Mammography Technologist you must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced women’s imaging center. Candidates for this position must have a thorough understanding of all aspects of mammography imaging, radiation safety and related patient care. A candidate for this position will be available to work daytime shifts.
Additionally, you will:
- Communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds including the elderly population
- Ability to learn and grow with new technology
- Customer service skills
- CPR certification
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Radiologic Technology program or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- ARRT registered technologist (ARRT)(R)
- Completion of Advanced Registry in Mammography (ARRT)(M)
- Florida State Licensure
- Minimum 1 year related experience
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of mammography imaging and positioning
- Prior digital and 3D mammography experience
- Prior Mammography Reporting System (MRS) experience
- General computer and PACS knowledge
