Radiology Associates of Ocala, is looking for a full-time (Tuesday – Saturday) Patient Services Coordinator for a busy outpatient imaging center.
As a Patient Services Coordinator you will provide quality customer service while obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information into our RIS system for our patients.
Additionally, you will:
- Collect copays, deductibles and outstanding payments from patients.
- Cross-reference scheduled appointments against written radiology order to ensure appropriate exam is being performed.
- Answer a multi-line phone system in a courteous and friendly manner. Route incoming calls to the appropriate person or facility.
- Validate accurate insurance information has been entered including any and all pre-authorization documentation and authorization numbers.

What you will need to be successful:
- A minimum of one-year related medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
- Good computer and customer service skills a must
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs and PPOs is a plus.
