Full-Time
Non-Exempt pay rate: $19.41
Annual Non-Exempt Salary: $37,850

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Remain informed of disability regulations, policies and community resources in order to provide information, referrals, and educational services.
- Assist people with disabilities develop independent living goals and encourage self-advocacy skills.
- Engage in outreach and activities promoting disability rights on the local, state, and federal level.
Education:
- A College Degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Two years of experience working with people with disabilities.
- Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Independent Living Movement, Social Security Administration, Department of Social Servies, disability rights legislation, and benefit programs: such as Medicaid, SNAP, HEAP.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer skills, including outlook and Microsoft programs.
