Position Summary:
Regal Rexnord is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to help foster growth and drive efficiencies in our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This position supports our Shared Service FP&A team supporting our IPS and AMC operating segments and is based in downtown Milwaukee, WI at our newly renovated MCS Headquarters. As part of the Global FP&A team, reporting to the Finance Manager, Shared Service FP&A, this role will help drive process excellence and continuous improvement as well as support the monthly financial planning & analysis activities across Regal Rexnord's largest segments. The Finance organization is committed to developing future leaders and for the successful candidate, this position will lead to further progression within Finance to gain breadth of experience and exposure to the numerous facets of the IPS and AMC business's. Major Responsibilities:
- Leads monthly financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities for the shared service functions
- Analyzes results, researches variances to explain underlying causes and identifies trends. Holds management accountable for actions that help drive financial performance
- Collaborates to identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps and financial risks through regular touch points with global business leaders
- Leads cross functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge the status quo to eliminate waste and improve FP&A process cycle times and improve quality
- Facilitates monthly meetings on department spending and provides status updates to department heads.
- Assists in explaining actual spending to management and develops forward looking forecasts for the department(s). Recommends corrective actions when spending deviates from plan
- Supports Regal Rexnord's annual financial planning activities for the 1-year Budget and 3-year Strategic Plan
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors or higher degree from an accredited institution required in Accounting, Business Finance, Economics or related field of study.
- Five or more years of overall experience focused on financial analysis, decision support, and resource allocation required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with OneStream, HFM and/or SAP a plus
- MBA or CPA, CMA, CFA, FPAC designation a plus
