We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Team Member- PEX for our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama.
Responsibilities
Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
- Starts and controls winder by pushing buttons.
- Loads winder by guiding pipe under holding bracket.
- Reads print on pipe to verify proper text and length.
- Ties string around pipe bundle when it reaches the proper length.
- Cuts pipe with pipe cutters and re-loads winder. Cuts Quality samples.
- Forms and glues cardboard boxes.
- Lifts pipe off of winder and places into box.
- Stacks boxes on pallet. Bands boxes together on pallets with bander.
- Labels boxes.
- Feeds scrap pipe into grinder.
- Counts and bundles straight lengths of pipe.
- Pulls bag over bundle of straight pipe. Ties bag with wire and hand tool.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
- Familiarity with the metric system
- Must be able to work 12 hours shifts.
- Must be able to work night shift.

The base salary range for this position is $17.70. A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on his or her skills, education, experience and geographic location.
